TCS Launches Chiplet Engineering Services to Accelerate Semiconductor Innovation

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has unveiled its Chiplet-based System Engineering Services, targeting semiconductor firms aiming to streamline next-generation chip design. The MOVE aligns with India's push to become a global semiconductor hub, leveraging chiplets—modular integrated circuits that enhance processor efficiency and scalability.

The technology has already been deployed with a North American semiconductor company, expediting AI processor development. India's semiconductor market, valued at $45-50 billion in 2024-2025, is projected to double by 2030, bolstered by the government's ₹76,000 crore India Semiconductor Mission.

"TCS's services will drive flexibility and faster time-to-market for chiplet tapeouts," said V Rajanna, President of Technology at TCS. The initiative underscores India's growing influence in advanced chip manufacturing.
